- Register an account using the Register link in the top bar. One account holds up to 30 characters.
- Download the client from the Download page and run it.
- Create a character and go through the Training Grounds. The Job Advisor there previews every first job visually before you commit.
- Pick a first job, then head to Prontera. Almost every custom service on this server sits within a few steps of the fountain.
- Check the Ledger at Prontera to see where you stand against everyone else.

Party frames, your way
Party frames inspired by modern MMOs, brought to Ragnarok. Every member gets a pop-out frame showing their HP, SP and buffs, and the look of the frames is yours to change.
See it on you first
One window for hair style, hair colour, cloth colour, costume dye, your nameplate and your chat bubble. Every option shows on your character in-game before anything is applied.
Walk the path again
Transcendent and expanded classes at Base 99 / Job 50 can be reborn up to three more times. Each Prestige raises your EXP rates and unlocks a form drawn from your class's future.

Theming and smart controls
The client is yours to tune: a dark or classic preset, every surface and accent colour, and a layout panel for the HUD. Smart Cast fires a skill on whatever your cursor is over, party frames included, and every hotkey rebinds with a click.
The Bounty Register
Standing contracts at the Prontera Hunters' Lodge. Pick a monster near your level, choose a 50, 100 or 150 kill contract, and see the base and job EXP it pays before you accept. Contracts never expire and can be taken again once claimed.
Headgear and weapon commissions
The Artisans' Registry lists every headgear and weapon design. Each shows its materials against what you already carry, Kafra storage included, and accepting one adds a quest that tracks your progress.
The Traveller Passport
An account-wide travel document. Stamp a town once and every character on your account can travel there from any Kafra branch. Exploring the world earns achievements along the way.
The Auction House
List items for sale and buy from anyone, from anywhere. No vending required and no shop to sit at: your listings stay up for days while you keep playing.
The Ledger
Twelve server standings, from wealth to monster kills to deaths, read straight from the record book. See exactly where you land.
The Card Compendium and Pet Album
Two albums that fill in as you play. Every card you hold is recorded in the Compendium with its effect, and every pet you tame goes into the Album with its taming item, food and loyalty bonus. Both count towards the Ledger and achievements.
